Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) can determine how far objects are away from each other by shining a laser onto a target and analyzing the light that bounces back. LiDAR is used to create incredibly detailed maps in addition to assisting researchers in the fields of geography, archeology, geology, seismology, atmospheric sciences, laser studies, and much more.

LiDAR data processing is most effective in the field of geographical system and of remote sensing for creating Digital Elevation Model, Digital Terrain Model and many other surface models. We have the complete understanding of all types of data in LiDAR system and has developed custom built utilities for easy classification of LIDAR points.

Mobile Mapping

We provide mobile mapping services designed for the needs of municipalities, surveyors and engineering firms.

DEM (Digital Elevation Model)

A digital elevation model (DEM) is a digital model or 3D representation of a terrain’s surface — commonly for a planet (including Earth), moon, or asteroid — created from terrain elevation data.

DTM (Digital Terrain Model)

Data acquisition for developing of the Digital Terrain Model (DTM) is made by 3D photogrammetric data acquisition from aerial images (stereopairs)

DSM (Digital Surface Model)

DSM’s measure the height values of the first surface on the ground. This includes terrain features, buildings, vegetation and power lines etc. DSM’s therefore provide a topographic model of the earth’s surface. DSM’s can be used to create 3D fly-throughs, support location-based systems and augmented simulated environments.

Advance Classification

Airborne lidar mapping has been gaining widespread acceptance. Following processing features are available :

A) Raw data Geocoding. B) Calibration and strip adjustment. C) Model adjustment and ground control. D) Classification. E) Model generation. F) Ortho-image generation. G) Datum transformation and projection.

Power Line Classification

Power lines are important components of the power sector and their monitoring has significant roles in various areas :

A) Airborne LiDAR has been traditionally used for power line cruising, but it is not directly applicable to the extraction of urban power lines.
B) Vehicle-borne LiDAR, which is an emerging mobile mapping system, can capture road surface features rapidly from high-speed vehicles.

3D Buildings and City Models

3D city models are digital models of urban areas that represent terrain surfaces, sites, buildings, vegetation, infrastructure and landscape elements as well as related objects (e.g., city furniture) belonging to urban areas
